Update April 25th: Grand Strand Happening was in attendance for the CCU Student Artist Society Spring Exhibition and has a nice review up.

Grand Strand Happening writes, "Student artists from Coastal Carolina University presented their best work last weekend at Fresh Brewed Coffee House.  The juried show gave the students exposure and professional experience and a chance to interact with the public and explain their works."

First Report April 19th: The Coastal Carolina University Student Art Society will be showcasing some of their work on April 21st and 22nd at Fresh Brewed Coffee House. 

The Student Art Society was started by Art Studio majors in 2009 and the club sponsors a speaker series, fundraisers, trips to other cities and museums, exhibitions, and various events to prepare students for graduate school or a career in art.

The Spring Exhibition is a two day event starting at 7:00 p.m. on both Saturday, April 21st and Sunday, April 22nd. There will be live music each day, Saturday, Jentry Rose and Sunday, Electric Bird Noise. Also, there is a small $5.00 cover charge at the door each day.
