Allen’s book “Diamond Del's Search for the Crown Jewels” is Wonder Works’ January Book of the Month

Christine Osborne, owner of Wonder Works in Mount Pleasant, S.C., West Ashley, S.C. and downtown Charleston, S.C., announced today that the company will host a book signing for local author Anna Allen on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012. Allen will sign her book, “Diamond Del’s Search for the Crown Jewels,” from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Mt. Pleasant store, located at 624 Long Point Rd. # D in the Belle Hall Shopping Center. From 2 to 5 p.m., she will sign books at the West Ashley store located in the St. Andrews Shopping Center, 975 Savannah Hwy. “Diamond Del's Search for the Crown Jewels” is Wonder Works’ January book of the month and is available at all Wonder Works locations.

Osborne said, “Anna’s book is fun and adventurous. It also comes with a pack of jewels, so the book creates an interactive experience for readers. The kids just love it! We’re super excited to have her in our stores.”

Allen lives with her husband and two young daughters in Mt. Pleasant. She and her husband own Diamond Del's Gem Mining Adventure, an educational mobile gem mining program that travels throughout the Southeast.
