Most of us know at least one person that's been affected by the "I've been mugged in a foreign country" e-mail scam, but it was a little bit more embarrassing when it hits a local councilman.

Charleston Councilman William Dudley Gregorie's e-mail account was recently used to announce to his contacts that he was mugged in England.
