Two Charleston police officers patrolling Line and Percy streets on Wednesday night witnessed a man punch a biker in the back of the head.

The officers immediately jumped out of their vehicle and were led on a brief foot chase before apprehending the suspect.

A second suspect was snatched up moments later further down Line Street. There have been countless cases of reckless crooks in Charleston, but committing crimes in plain sight of a patrol car is high up on the ever-expanding list.
