The St. Nicholas Winterfest will take place in downtown Conway this weekend and events range from parades to pork cook-offs.

Beginning on Thursday, Dec. 8 with the Conway Christmas Cuisine, which is an event similar to Taste of the Town, the St. Nicholas Winterfest kicks off a weekend of fun.  At the food tasting, there will be over 20 restaurants, beverage vendors, and caterers.  On Friday begins the Nothing Butt Pork cook-off.  Saturday morning is the conclusion of the BBQ portion of the cook-off and the Conway Christmas parade.  A craft fair that begins on Saturday will continue through Sunday, giving shoppers a great opportunity to snag some nice seasonal, handmade, and unique items.

The full schedule of events, including location information, can be found on the Winterfest site and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to many charities, some local.
