The Conway Police Department and North Myrtle Beach Department of Public Safety will join the National Take Back Initiative and sponsor a "Prescription Drug Take Back Day" on Saturday, October 29, 2011.

This is a great time to take a look in your medicine cabinets and toss the unnecessary or expired prescription drugs.  It's important to do so properly, though.  From 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. you can bring the prescription drugs you'd like to dispose of to the Walgreens at 1601 Church Street in Conway, or Surfwood Plaza at 258 Highway 17 North in North Myrtle Beach.
