Conway hosts their Fall Festival and Live Oak Art & Music Fest, both on Saturday, October 1, 2011.  Add them to the events at the Cox Ferry Lake Recreation Area on that same day, and we've got a Conway hat trick.

The group paddle from the Conway Marina starts at 9:00 a.m. and takes participants to the Cox Ferry Lake Recreation Area where you can see the new Waccamaw River Blue Trail and Otter Lake Boardwalk. Activities include mountain biking lessons, canoeing, food, and music.  More details are here.

The CREATE Conway Live Oak Art & Music Fest begins at 10:00 a.m. at the old Horry County Courthouse on the corner of 3rd Avenue and Elm Street.  Artists will be exhibiting and selling their work and there will be musical performances starting at 11:00 a.m. and concluding at 5:00 p.m.  For a full line-up of musicians, check out the CREATE Conway blog here.

The Conway Fall Festival begins at 10:00 a.m. and goes until 6:00 p.m.  The festivities will take place at 3rd Avenue and Laurel Street, just a few blocks from the Live Oak Art & Music Fest.  It will feature arts and crafts, food, entertainment, a kids' play area, an antique car show, musicians, and a farmers' market.  For more information on the location, schedule of events, and parking, check out the Conway Parks and Recreation website here.

You can find informaiton on all three events in this Sun News article.
