Update October 24th: The Carolina Forest Civic Assocation has posted photos of the event.

Check the album out on Facebook.

First Report: On Saturday, October 22nd, the Carolina Forest Civic Association's Families in the Forest committee is planting 116 donated trees around the Carolina Forest Ball Field Park on International Drive.  They are looking for volunteers to help.

Similar to the Carolina Forest playground build, where volunteers were assembled for one day's worth of work to make a huge dent in its construction, all ages are welcome to participate in this community-building event.  Hot dogs and water will be served.

No RSVPs are necessary, just show up with a good attitude and willingness to help.  Another tree planting event is in the planning stages for the new Carolina Forest Library, Recreation Center, and playground in the spring.
