Planners congregate in Charleston to learn the SmartCode

Folks from around the country will be coming to Charleston in November to brush up on the SmartCode, a new urban design take on how areas can grow but not lose their feeling of community.

Though, don't get to excited about the prospects of getting in on the cheap because it's in your backyard: The conference is $565 ($350 for students).

You can register online, and learn lots more about it in this brochure.
