After a bankruptcy, a renovation that seemed to last forever, and a new movie theater, Inlet Square Mall hopes to lure in more retail partners.

Inlet Square Mall is the oldest in the area.  Opening in 1980, it pre-dates the Briarcliff/Myrtle Beach Mall by six years. However, over the past decade the mall has slid into the also ran category in terms of area shopping. But, since the opening if the new Frank Theater opening this past July retailers are eyeing Inlet Square.

With the commercial real estate firm Avis Young on board, mall management has high hopes for attracting new retail blood to get the shoppers coming back. For the full write-up head on over to The Sun News and read about sales ticking up and future events.
