Charleston County works incentives to attract $39.1 million in investment

Charleston County Council gave an inititial thumbs up to a trio of incentives that could mean $39.1 million worth of investment in the county.

Yes, one of those is the much-discussed relocation of PeopleMatter onto Upper King Street.

The other two are: TIGHitco, an aerospace supplier looking to open a North Charleston facility that could mean 300 jobs, and Streit Armoring USA which is looking to open a manufacturing site with 40 jobs.

I'll point you over to the Charleston Regional Business Journal for details.
