Boeing says North Charleston or city in Washington will get plant

While the unemployment rate in Charleston County took a slight bump toward the better today, landing a big Boeing manufaturing facility could go a long way towards getting the local economy moving again.

The company's CEO said Wednesday that a planned assembly line for the 787 Dreamliner will wind up either in North Charleston, or at the company's Everett, Washington complex, where management and labor aren't getting along.

The Post and Courier has the story, so fly over there.
