The numbers are in for the month of February, and apartment vacancy in Charleston was at 13.7% according to a report from Charlotte-based research firm Real Data.
Despite the 13.7% sounding quite high, but believe it or not, that number is actually lower than the 15.3% vacancy reported one year ago.
The report also found that the total number of units has risen about 5% from a year ago as well. Both supply and demand for apartments has risen in Charleston - not surprising with the increase in traffic these days.
Read up on the numbers in the Charleston Regional Business Journal.
