Giant ants designed by artist Jeffrey Kennedy will be sprinkled around the peninsula from Market Street to Cannonborough August 1 through August 28.

The ants are part of a project dreamt up by Darkness to Light founder Anne Lee. The ants represent that even the smallest little create can move a mountain, one piece at a time.
