Another #MYR business denies service dog entrance

In the past year or so this makes the third report we have done regarding local businesses denying service dogs.

The first was June 2011 at the Seafood World restaurant, the next was a month later and involved a wounded military veteran that was denied entrance to The Penthouse Club.  This third incident happened at the Osaka Buffet, located at 794 Oak Forest Lane in Myrtle Beach.

WMBF News reports that the Chapman family went to Osaka to celebrate a birthday when they, "were stopped at the door by a manager. The manager asked if their service dog, Charlie, was a Seeing Eye Dog. Charlie is not a Seeing Eye Dog, but is a Service Dog."

Osaka management claims it was all a misunderstanding.
