The Ashe Street Grocery, nestled on the corner of Ashe and Line streets is now selling herbs, flowers and peppers grown right next door in theĀ Elliotborough Community Garden.

A blue rack placed against the front window is the new spot to find the freshest basil, rosemary, hot peppers, and Shi So in the Elliotborough neighborhood. What's even better are the prices. Rosemary is going for $.50 per branch, flowers for $1 a stem and hot peppers for $.20 a piece.

All proceeds will benefit the Elliotborough Community Garden and be used to buy seeds and supplies for the Kids' garden and donation beds.

Be sure to tell your friends and neighbors to stop by Ashe Street Grocery and be on the lookout for additional items to be included as the fall season progresses.
