As the economy tilts south, bartering tilts upwards in Charleston

Pay checks have been drying up all across the country, and all across South Carolina. But people still have time and still have skills, and many businesses have an excess of capacity.

And that's a recipe that's ripe for the return of bartering, and one group, Back on Track Charleston, is working to create more and better bartering transactions.
