Redux hires development director, announces search for new executive director

Redux Contemporary Art Center has hired 1998 College of Charleston grad Kyle LeGette as their new director of development and interim executive director. They've also announced details of their search for a new executive director.

Their current executive director, Seth Curcio, has his "last day" on September 5.

Here's some details on what they're looking for in their new executive director:
The Executive Director is responsible for maintaining, overseeing and developing the following Redux programs: Exhibitions/Curating, Public Relations, Studio Rental Program, (both long and short term), Facility Maintenance, General Office, Website and Internet presence, Computers and office network, Accounting/Fundraising (oversee development director), Redux Non-Profit Status, Gallery, Film Screenings/Lectures and Education. In addition the Executive Director will oversee the Redux staff including the Director of Development and Education/Outreach Coordinator, and all interns and volunteers.

The successful candidate will have non-profit experience with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. S/he will be able to work effectively with the Board, staff, volunteers, and community leaders. S/he will be able to speak and write persuasively about the mission, programs, and contribute to the income needs of Redux and its related projects. S/he will have superb planning, organizational, and supervisory skills. A strong organization vision is encouraged with an emphasis on long term strategic planning.
