Moncks Corner working to spruce up their farmers market

In an effort to make downtown Moncks Corner more appealing, town officials have invested in 50 acres off of East Main Street for a recreation complex, and now, are considering buying up additional space to house a proper farmers market.

The current, open air farmers market is set up every Saturday and Wednesday in an empty lot. The new space would provide sheds with stalls to protect vendors and shoppers from the weather.

No word yet on how much the land will cost, but for more details, hop over to the article in The Post and Courier.
