Charleston Fashion Week has announced the nine winners of the "Emerging Designer Competition: Southeast" after a meticulous talent investigation.

Each finalist will present his/her collection at Charleston Fashion Week March 24-28. Of the nine talented designers, six semifinalists will exhibit their collections on Tuesday, March 24 and the three finalists on Saturday, March 28.

Hailing from amidst the Southeast, the six semifinalists include:

Swapnali Ahire

Caroline Baker

Emily Bargeron

Amanda deLeon

Shan Keith

Jonathan Nigel Moore

And three finalists from Charleston:

Lindsey Carter

Alena Fursova

Maria Dobrzanska

The three finalists will be judged by renown 'fashionistas' like Project Runway’s finalist, Mychael Knight and have the chance to win $1,000 donated by the Art Institute of Charleston, a runway show at CFW 2010, a booth at AmericasMart Atlanta Apparel Market in August, and other gifts.
