Charles Towne Landing archaeologists are now competing head to head against Mayan and Etruscan sites in an outreach contest.

The Public Outreach Contest launched by the Archaeological Institute of America (AIA) aims to recognize archaeologists for their outreach efforts and promotes their sites through the high-traffic AIA website. Voters will pick from six archaeological sites including Charles Towne Landing State Historic Site. Voting will continue until February 8th and voters can return to the website daily.

Let's all take a second to visit the contest website and vote for Charles Towne Landing. Remember: you can come back to vote every day until February 8th. Let's make Charleston proud!
