The Post and Courier's Ken Burger writes about the writing life

Ken Burger is a man on the move. He's got a new book out. He's writing a new column. And he's reflecting on his chosen profession. In a touching and insightful article, Burger weighs in on the challenges and rewards of a life in the newspaper business. He's been the Post and Courier's chief sports writer for 21 years. But now he's moving on. His new column, which will run on Saturdays, Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, will focus on life in the lowcountry. It debuts Tuesday, January 6th.

I could fill this precious space with tales of Super Bowls won and lost, Final Fours, trips to Augusta National, World Series and football memories from Tuscaloosa to Tallahassee.
