S.C. Wildlife’s 28th annual outdoor photo contest accepting entries

Have you got a shot a the beautiful Grand Strand natural scenery or wildlife?  Here is your chance to have your photo featured at the 2012 Palmetto Sportmen's Classic.

South Carolina Wildlife’s Twenty-Eighth Annual Outdoor Photography Competition and Print Exhibition is open to anyone interested in photography. The magazine’s award-winning photography staff will serve as judges for the contest and winning prints will be displayed at the 2012 Palmetto Sportsmen’s Classic to be held March 23-25, 2012 at the State Fairgrounds in Columbia. There is no entry fee for the contest.

The contest has two divisions: amateur and advanced (entrants decide which category to enter). Subject matter is wildlife, outdoor scenes and outdoor resource activities (hunting, fishing, boating, camping, hiking, etc.) in South Carolina. Only submit two prints per photographer. All photos must be taken in South Carolina. The deadline for submission is 5 p.m. on March 2. A signed and completed entry form must be included with photos; be sure your name, address, phone number and division entered are on back of each print.
