Garden & Gun is currently running a great feature on local photographer Sully Sullivan's South by Southwest project that brought him across the country on a mission to capture the essence and stories of some of the festival's musicians.

The photos were shot in 2011 on a trip which Sullivan describes as the “greatest, most hard working project in my life.”
