For all of you "clothes" minded people out there, it's time you met Andrea Serrano. A fashion stylist based in Charleston, Serrano specializes in styling for advertising, magazine editorials, closet makeovers, and personal styling.

Charlestonians may be familiar with Andrea and her husband Gustvao from when they owned and operated both Upper King Street's streetwear boutique called B'zar and Spring Street's sneaker boutique, Suite Sole. The couple, who were previously living and working in New York, saw the potential and rapid growth in this charming southern town, and they wanted to be a part of it.

After four successful years, B’zar closed in 2009 and led Andrea Serrano down a new path. She recently worked on Lifetime’s hit TV show Army Wives as the Costume Buyer for two seasons. Andrea Serrano also continues to do personal styling and consulting with various actresses from the show such as Catherine Bell and Wendy Davis. If you're looking to employ Andrea's service, you're in luck, she's more than happy to do your closet editing/makeovers and personal shopping.

As if Serrano's Charleston client base wasn't already impressive enough, her complete list of past and present clients will blow you away. Do Sony Records, Elektra Records, AT&T, Cheetos, L’oreal, Maybelline, or Nautica ring any bells? Exactly.

To supplement her fashion styling, Serrano is kicking off a weekly interview series with her friends in the fashion, entertainment, and beauty industry on her blog. Called "The INdustry,” her first in-depth interview features fashion stylist/costume designer extraordinaire Danny Santiago.
