Come out for fresh produce, local food, music, fun, good weather, and maybe a beer or two as the Habersham Marketplace's First Friday series returns Friday, April 6, with “Island Time” beginning at 4 p.m.

Update April 6: The First Fridays start back tonight, and here's the full vendor line-up.

The third season of the First Friday Series launches this Friday, April 6, with "Island Time," beginning at 4PM. The event will feature the Marketplace drenched in island decor, Hilton Head Island Reggae band Patwa, an expanded Farmer's Market complete with local and regional growers, as well as arts, crafts and specialty food vendors from 4-9PM. Family friendly and children's activities will also be offered, including face painting! There is no cost to enter.

The schedule for "Island Time" is as follows:
• Expanded Farmer's Market – 4-7PM
• Live Local Music – Billy Drysdale, 4-5:30PM, Patwa Reggae Band 6-9PM
• Children and Family Activities – ongoing

The First Fridays Series continues monthly through October with the following themed events: Cinco De Mayo Bash (May 4), Beaufort's Got Talent Show (June 1), Footloose Friday (July 6) Rock the Block Back to School Rally (month TBA), End of Summer Soiree (month TBA), Blues and Brews Festival (October 5). 

• Brant Family Farms: The Brants farm all naturally and always have a beautiful assortment of produce. Leafy greens, carrots, radishes, lettuce and more.
• Cori's Pierogi Hut: Cori has created a buzz selling her homemade pierogies to take home and have for dinner! Don't know what a pierogi is? Well, come find out!
• MiBek Farms: Michael will be here this week with his pasture-raised beef rich in Omega-3's. He has ground beef, steaks, brats, hot dogs and more.
• Ladys Island Oyster Farm: Frank Roberts is selling his local oysters at the market. Each week, he'll have singles and clusters. Take some home or eat them raw on the spot! Oyster season closes at the end of May so be sure to get them while you can!
• BabyCakes: Bernie always has creative flavors of cheesecakes and will be glad to let you try a sample! They are good!
• Cup-to-Cup Coffee Roasters: It is really a rare treat to have locally roasted coffee available at a farmers market. Fresh roasted coffee has an amazing flavor! Buy a cup of hot coffee at the market!
• SweetCakes: Laurel will not be here this week.
• Anita Louis Cox: Anita is here this week with all her great local honey, teas, and cheeses.
• Miss Jannie's Breads: Jannie has all her delicious breads, cupcakes, and cake slices. She has become quite popular at the market!
• Fred's Alaskan Seafood: Steve Sturrman is an Alaskan fisherman who brought some of his catch down here this weekend. He has now gone back to Alaska to fish but his fish will continue to be sold at the market. Smoked Salmon, Sockeye Salmon filets and portions, and occassionaly some other fish.
• Eileen's Crepes: Crepes are back and they are flying off the cooker! Stop by the crepe trailer for a little market snack, or dinner!
• Kettle Korn: Nick and Gerry Pfiefer make Kettle Korn on the spot and provide this delicious afternoon snack to anybody who wants it! Find them by the Pirate Ship.
• Shells Catering: Stop by to see Paul for good eats! They'll have hot prepared food for you to enjoy while you do your shopping or listen to the music.
• Fusion Bath and Body: Renee Hurt makes all types of nice soaps, lotions, cremes and more. She'll have some samples for you to try and can tell you about what each one is for.
• Walnut Hill Acres: Phyllis will be here this week with EGGS!
• Delilah's Plants: Delilah has a great selection of a variety of live plants for your garden. She can also tell you how to care for the plants you buy.
• Frank Koller: Frank paints old tabby bricks with all types of iconic figures that make great gifts.
• Copper Tree Pottery: You may have seen them at the Harvest Festival last fall. Copper Tree has beautiful hand thrown pottery for sale.
• Peg Cronin: All things soft. Thats what Peg does and she does it well. She has handmade pillows, stuffed animals, decorations and more.
• Helena Appleton: Helena has beautiful handmade jewelry. Her work is definitely something you must see. Very fine work.
• Mary Thibault: Mary is an artist selling her paintings as well as one of the most popular kids face painters. Bring your kids by her tent!
• Creations by Mimi: Cheryl Hechmer makes things for kids. Hair bows, pens and more.
• Arlene Line: Arlene makes hand sewn bags, aprons, dolls and many other things. You'll have fun looking around at everything she has created!
• Micah Qualls: Micah is a young clay potter who has made a big impression. Last time he was out at the market, we heard from several customers wanting to know when he'd be back. He's back this week! Bowls, mugs, plates, and more.
• Brooke Bobrowicz: Brooke has crotcheted items and will be making her debut at the Habersham Farmers Market. Welcome Brooke!
• Gayle Thomas: Gayle is in town visiting a friend and decided to bring some of her hand knitted childrens clothes to sell.
• From the Kitchen: We welcome Tinka from Savannah. Tinka has a wide assortment of products including homemade soaps, crafts, foods and more.
• Cultural Homestay International: This is a non-profit group setting up to let people know about their foreign exchange student programs. Stop by to find out more.
