Background on Port Royal's dog control; How to have your opinion be heard
Flickr user misshappiness
Should all fidos be more regulated in Port Royal? Be heard.
First reporting February 26, updates below: Following up on the two recent dog-bites-child stories in Port Royal, WSAV's Holly Bounds has a report about the town's response.
In short, the reaction from Port Royal Town Manager Van Willis seems to be that options are on the table — read Bounds' report here — but what's particularly interesting is that Wills says he hasn't heard much from the community.
So if you'd like to see some change in the town's policy, reach out Willis at vwillis@portroyal.org or the elected leadership (contact info below.)
Remember, if you want change, make yourself heard.
Update February 27: In a similar vein The Island Packet has published a piece on Port Royal's dog enforcement rules, and what key players think should be done.
Read that lengthy piece by Kyle Peterson here.
