$10,000 lottery ticket sold in Bluffton unclaimed (Update: Claimed)

Update July 10: A unnamed but lucky-by-the-skin-of-their-teeth person has claimed the ticket worth $10,000.

First reporting: In six days one very lucky person who picked the numbers for a Powerball ticket worth $10,000 is about to become a very unlucky person.

A Powerball ticket sold from Bluffton Market at 1271 A May River Road this past January 11 worth $10,000 and must be claimed no later than Monday, July 9. The ticket matched four white ball numbers and the red Powerball number. The ticket holder did not purchase PowerPlay.

The winning ticket must be claimed at the Columbia Claims Center before 4:45 p.m. on Monday, July 9. If the prize is not claimed, the $10,000 winnings will be deposited in the Education Lottery Account to support educational programs in South Carolina.
