Each year, almost 20,000 Marines graduate from boot camp and their families come to help them celebrate their achievement.

And now, those new Marines' families will have more opportunity to celebrate with their loved ones. Every week, Family Day is directly followed by graduation on Friday morning. However, now there will be an extended Family Day on Wednesdays, meaning that families will be able to spend more time with their new Marines.

Even better, now the entire extended familiy is invited to join in on the festivities during this Family Day.

Find out more about what this extended Family Day could mean over at WTOC 11's report here.
