Reported Oct. 14: Beaufort County election officials are seeing a good number of early general election voters at their Beaufort and newly added Bluffton absentee precincts, according to WTOC.

WTOC says about 300 people voted Tuesday at the two precincts combined.

The Beaufort-area absentee precinct is located at 15 John Galt Road. Check out the Beaufort County Elections Office's website for more info.

Don't forget to head on over to the SC Election Commission site if you have any questions about voting or candidates.

Updated Oct. 16: WSAV has an interesting report on the absentee ballot process for Beaufort County and how people may have jeopardized their opportunity to receive a ballot by running their request through a GOP PAC instead of directly through the county.
