Update December 7: Thanks to fingerprint records, the man has been identified as 19-year-old Aaron Lemont Morris of Hampton County.

First reporting: Officials are still attempting to identify the body of a man killed Friday night on U.S. 17.

Just before 9 p.m., emergency personnel responded to the southbound lane at Bull Corner Road (map beloow) near Gardens Corner in reference to a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle.

The victim, a black male believed to be in his early 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim had no identification on his person, and has yet to be linked to any missing person report. The victim was wearing all black clothing and black shoes, and had no identifying scars, marks, or tattoos.
