Sheriff PJ Tanner has announced that the South Carolina Sheriff's Association will be offering honorary memberships to interested county residents. 

“With government funding becoming increasingly difficult to secure, the membership drive has taken on greater importance than ever before,” said Sheriff Tanner. “The funding is vital to helping us carry out our mission of making our communities safer places to live, work and play.”

Information regarding membership will be mailed out shortly, but individuals can join the volunteer program for $20, while local businesses can take part for a $50 donation.
