Three Beaufort County officers were involved in a shooting at Canal Apartments on Salem Road after pulling over a car that then drove towards the officers.

Two men were wounded and a child in the car was not injured.

The deputies are on administrative leave while the State Law Enforcement Division conducts a standard investigation.

In December a man died after being shot at the apartments.
