It all started with the Preston Oates saga, and now county officials are looking at how to better regulate the region's towing industry.

Lost in all that is the bum rap the rest of the county's tow truck drivers say they're receiving because of one tragic incident.

WSAV's Holly Bounds has a nice report on how these towers are banding together to protect their names.

"We're looked at like little Preston’s running around, gun toting, and it's just not true," one of them tells Bounds.
