Newcastle Square in Uptown is about to get a new market.

You may remember that a few months back we told you about Herban Marketplace, a new "boutique green grocer," that is slated to open on Newcastle Street in the Uptown area.

Well, it looks like we have a bit clearer picture on when this new shop will open: November.

This morning we received an email blast announcing the following:

Herban Marketplace has been gathering the  most exclusive organic products of the highest quality in order to create Beaufort's premier, all-organic and all-natural gourmet grocery store. Product requests have been coming in via email and on our Facebook page daily and we are having great success in finding what you want. Our signage went up last week and we are in the process of creating a website that we're very excited about. We will be announcing our grand opening date very soon!
