It's not a unique story, organizations that rely on charitable donations all are struggling under this strained economy.

But HELP of Beaufort, told WSAV's Holly Bounds that it's trying some unique methods to make it through these trying times.

According to HELP of Beaufort's website, the organization is:

the largest of all volunteer organizations in Beaufort County providing direct service. HELP maintains a facility that is open five mornings a week with over 60 volunteers giving their time and effort to carry out HELP's programs.HELP volunteers are also available on week-ends and evenings for emergency cases.
