There's a write-up over at The Island Packet about Beaufort County having a "good" tourism season this year. 

Now I've put good in quotes as the story focuses more on hotel occupancy rates throughout the county, but that sliver of good news comes at the same time downtown Beaufort has recently lost a gallery, a veteran bookstore of 30 years, and another business not just yet closed that we can't say yet.

At any rate, I'll take whatever good news we can get.
