Pat Conroy's "The Boo" now available for your e-reader

I doubt Pat Conroy has an Ipad, or any tablet/e-reader for that matter. In fact, the beloved author and Beaufort's favorite resident admits that it wasn't until recently that he realized his work could be downloaded electronically.

Conroy over the summer sat down for a nice interview with The Associated Press, during which he discussed this move from print to e-books. You can check that out here.

Any while Conroy's more recent titles always have been available for the Nooks and Kindles or the world, it wasn't until August that his older titles, including "The Great Santini" and "The Prince of Tides" were accessible as e-books. That occurred through a partnership with Open Road Integrated Media.

The trend of getting Conroy's older works into the e-world continued today with the digital release of Conroy's debut title, "The Boo."  "The Boo" was self-published by Conroy back in 1969.

If you want more info on this e-release you can check out the full press release here.

Or better yet, download the book here.
