"Route 65 Nashville is a film about hope, music and never giving up on your dreams", say the movie's producers, Dream Coast Films.

That film represents the first in a pair to be filmed in Beaufort over the next several months.

Route 65 Nashville is slated to be filmed in August and September and release in spring 2014, it has a budget in the $7 million range. Details on the second film "My Brother, Your Outlaw. The Waylon Jennings Story" are sparser, but filming is expected in spring 2014.
