The Lowcountry
& Resort Islands Tourism Commission,South Carolina
Department of Parks, Recreation & Tourism, consultants from Tourism
Development International Inc., and a committee of Lowcountry area stakeholders
will unveil the Lowcountry region's Tourism Product Development Plan on
Wednesday, October 13.

The
plan will be presented in a public session at 10:30 a.m. that day at Palm Key
off state road S-27-19 at 330 Coosaw Way, Knowles Island, SC 29936.

The
presentation follows months of in-depth visits and committee work, and will lay
out an integrated regional plan containing specific recommendations for the
expansion and development of tourism throughout the Lowcountry area.

The presentation should
