Update October 22: As you might expect, the Gazette came out for the forum and has a nice report about what the candidates said.
Worth pointing out that the image of Beaufort, N.C., is still on the Beaufort Black Chamber of Commerce's website.
First reporting: The Beaufort Regional Chamber
of Commerce Visitor & Convention Bureau, along with The Beaufort Gazette and the
Lady's Island Business and Professional Association will hold a candidate forum at 6 p.m. Oct. 21 at the Quality Inn in Beaufort.
Candidates invited to the forum include those from the following races:
- Beaufort City Council
- School District seats 5 and 7
- Beaufort
County Treasurer - S.C. Governor
- U.S. Congressional Seat 2
- U.S. Senate
