Candidate forum features local council, education, and congressional candidates (update: forum report)

Update October 22: As you might expect, the Gazette came out for the forum and has a nice report about what the candidates said.

Worth pointing out that the image of Beaufort, N.C., is still on the Beaufort Black Chamber of Commerce's website.

First reporting: The Beaufort Regional Chamber
of Commerce Visitor & Convention Bureau, along with The Beaufort Gazette and the
Lady's Island Business and Professional Association will hold a candidate forum at 6 p.m. Oct. 21 at the Quality Inn in Beaufort.

Candidates invited to the forum include those from the following races:

  • Beaufort City Council 
  • School District seats 5 and 7 
  • Beaufort
    County Treasurer
  • S.C. Governor
  • U.S. Congressional Seat 2
  • U.S. Senate
