LowCountry Habitat for Humanity Art Auction set for Friday

The 8th Annual Lowcountry Habitat for Humanity Art Auction is scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday, May 13 at Frissell Building on the Penn Center Campus, and this year it has taken a slight twist – it’s not just for birdhouses anymore.

This year’s fundraiser “Home Re-Imagined” will feature a variety of donated art works, including some very special birdhouses. Live and silent auctions will be held throughout the evening on various gift packages.

An original oil painting of this year’s fundraiser poster, by local artist Aki Kato, will be one of the items offered.

Live music will be provided by the Amanda Brewer Band and catering by Debbie Covington.

Tickets are $30 in advance, $40 the day of the event.

You can RSVP over at the Facebook event page or check for more info over at Habitat's Facebook page.
