On Thursday, February 2nd, Beaufort resident Jamie "Marty" Martinez, 67, will donate hsi 26th gallon of blood at the American Red Cross Blood Drive.

Martinez began donating in 1965; since then, he has visited bloodmobiles 207 times--tomorrow's visit will make his 208th. And he's not the only Martinez who's into donating blood. His wife, Debbie, will make her 89th donation tomorrow. She began donating in the '70s because, she says, "It is healthy to donate blood."
