Heritage Days, a celebration of the Gullah culture, returns to St. Helena Island's Penn Center beginning Thursday.
This is the 28th installment of the annual event that brings thousands of people to the Sea Islands.
A downloadable flyer outlining the three-day event can be found over at the Penn Center website.
But your best bet in terms of coverage for what to expect from Heritage Days is over at Lowcountry Weekly. We'll let you check out those sources for a full schedule, but rest assured that the weekend will be chock full of music, storytelling, food, dance, fellowship and education.
