Score some Girl Scout cookies as the cookie mobile to town

It's that time of year again when girls in their blue, brownie, and green dresses are standing outside of grocery stores to taunt the passersby with their purple, green, and red boxes filled with baked yumminess.

Of course I am referring to Girl Scout Cookies.

If you're still searching for your dose of sugary cookie goodness for a cause, then head down to the Boys and Girls Club of Beaufort as the "cookie mobile" visits town on Wednesday, March 7, from 5 to 6 p.m.

Where does all that cookie dough go towards?

  • With every purchase, approximately 70% of the proceeds stays in the local Girl Scout council to provide a portion of the resources needed to support Girl Scouting in that area, including the  portion that goes directly to the group selling the cookies. The balance goes directly to the baker to pay for the cookies.
