Don't feel like celebrating the sea in Port Royal? Well, the annual Cajun Food Festival is back once again on Hilton Head on Saturday, October 16, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Shelter Cove Community Park.

For $5 you'll get into the festival to listen to some live music with Chris Jones and Liquid Ginger and get tour an "Outdoor Business Expo." Pony up some more cash and you'll get to tast the Cajun food from local restaurants like Kenny B’s, Bluffton Oyster Factory, Wild Wings, Street Meet, and the SERG Group.

On the menu will be PoBoys, fried shrimp and oysters, beignets, red beans and rice, jambalaya, gumbo, among other items and more standard American classics like hamburgers, hot dogs, cotton candy, popcorn, ice cream, and snow cones.

The Island Packet has a more traditional report on the upcoming festival; read it here.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Island Recreation Association’s Scholarship Fund.
