Beer, oyster fest in Port Royal to support St. Peter's Catholic School (Update: Sunday)

Update: Thanks to the stormy weather conditions the oyster roast has been postponed until 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 4.

First reporting: The annual oyster roast to benefit St. Peter's Catholic School is returning for a 7th time in Port Royal, and its sporting more than 50 tasty microbrews. 

This time it's Saturday, March 3, from 1 p.m. onwards at Live Oaks Park in downtown Port Royal (rain date is Sunday).

Offered is the all-you-can-eat buffet of oysters, many types of craft beer, normal beer, wine, live music by the "Steppin’ Stones", and a child-watching area. Admission is $25. Children under 14 will have a free menu.

There will also be a raffle.
