Savannah Book Festival rolls around again this President's Day weekend

Savannah Book Festival

When most of us think of Savannah and books, we think of Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. But there's a lot more happening in Savannah when it comes to books, like 35 popular and critically acclaimed authors. And it's all free.

Savannah's 4th annual Book Festival is back in town this February 18-20, bringing with it such notable authors as Sandra Brown, Tobias Wolff and Vince Dfooley.

The festival will be held in and around Telfair Square in Savannah's historic district, and is aimed to promote "reading, writing and civil conversation" through, among other things, author lectures and book signings.

“The Savannah Book Festival offers a uniquely intimate experience with
individual presentations from a stunning array of authors – whatever
your taste in literature – from popular fiction to poetry and
lifestyle,” said Savannah Book Festival Board President, Stephanie
Duttenhaver. Listen to author interviews from 2010 and 2011 by going here.
