One of Old Sheldon Church's arches.

Grand oaks, classic Lowcountry architecture, and an overwhelming vibe of history, Old Sheldon Church near Yemassee is popular for a host of reasons, but one of those is not the graffiti etched in its crumbling walls.

While the efforts of those wanting to be remembered are sacrilegious, it doesn't mean it's not a visually interesting part of the old Episcopal church, and so that's why I'll point you over to Charleston photographer Jonathan Stout's set of photos of the graffiti.
