Landing Delta plane gets stuck in the mud in Savannah

Tuesday night's Delta Flight 2307 from Atlanta had a bumpy landing in Savannah near 6:45 p.m. and the plane ran off the runway and became stuck in the mud.

From a Delta release:

Flight 2307, a DC-9 inbound from Atlanta, landed in Savannah, GA at approximately 6:49 PM ET. As the aircraft turned onto the taxiway, the nose wheel of the aircraft made contact with the grass. No injuries were reported and all 125 customers and crewmembers deplaned safely on the tarmac and were bussed to the terminal. Delta apologizes for the inconvenience this has caused.

The airport says the incident did not delay other arriving flights.
